Here's The Latest On A Potential Sixers Trade For Kawhi Leonard

The Philadelphia 76ers are considering trading for Kawhi Leonard. If they are able to do that and land LeBron James in free agency, well they will have crushed it this offseason.

Before the Sixers can get Kawhi though, a few things have to happen. First, they have to decide what they are willing to part with in a potential deal.

According to reports, Philly has left Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and Markelle Fultz off the table in any trade talks with San Antonio thus far. If it were us, Fultz would be on the table as long as he would guarantee Leonard would be a Sixer and Philly already knows it is getting James.

Another thing Philly must think about is if Leonard will potentially sign with them long-term. He has one year left on his current contract and could be a free agent again next year.

ESPN's Ian Begley and The Express News' Jabari Young said Leonard would consider signing a multi-year deal with Philly.

Things are certainly heating up regarding Leonard and Philadelphia. We'll see if the Sixers ultimately do enough to get him.

Stay tuned.
