New Report Says There's A "0 Percent Chance" Kawhi Is Traded To These Teams

On Friday it was reported by multiple outlets that Kawhi Leonard wanted out of San Antonio. Since then, several teams have been mentioned as possible destinations.

No team has been mentioned more than the Los Angeles Lakers. Leonard is a California native and he reportedly prefers to end up back in L.A. The Lakers make sense as a trade partner, too, as they have several young players and some good draft picks.

However, there are some who doubt Leonard will be traded to Los Angeles simply because the Spurs might not want to help out a rival.

A new report states that there's actually no chance Leonard will be traded to any Western Conference team.

NBA insider Chris Sheridan reports that there's a "zero percent chance" Leonard stays in the West if he's traded.

"Sources: There is a 0 percent chance the Spurs trade Kawhi Leonard to a Western Conference team," he tweeted. "ZEEEEE-Row."

The Celtics and the Sixers have been mentioned as possible trade destinations for Leonard, too, and in some ways it does make more sense for San Antonio to ship him out East.

If you're the Spurs, though, wouldn't you just want to get the best possible return for him? If trade packages are really close, maybe you send him East instead, but if not, you probably just have to go with whoever's offering you the best deal.

Stay tuned.
