Kawhi Leonard's days playing for Gregg Popovich might not be over, despite the San Antonio Spurs star forward being traded to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a package featuring All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan.

The All-NBA forward is a part of USA Basketball, which is now being led by the Spurs' head coach. Leonard and Popovich could be reunited fairly soon, too.

Team USA is set to have a minicamp in Las Vegas later this week. There was some speculation regarding Leonard's commitment to that camp - especially if he hadn't been traded by the Spurs - but we appear to have some clarity.

Leonard, according to a report, plans on showing up to the minicamp. It's unclear, though, if he will be participating.

"As of now, Kawhi Leonard is expected to be in Vegas for this week's USA Basketball camp (as are DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry). To what degree he plans on participating in practices (if at all) is up in the air, I'm told," Josh Lewenberg reports.

Popovich has spoken about the possibility of coaching Kawhi on Team USA and he says it's something that he would look forward to. He still calls Kawhi a great kid.

It will be interesting, though, to see what that relationship is like moving forward.
