The 2017-18 men's college basketball season isn't over yet. We still have three more games to play.
It's already time to start looking ahead to 2018-19, though.
Who are going to be the country's top teams?
Noted statistical guru Ken Pomeroy has released his initial top 10 (it's actually a top 11) for the 2018-19 season. His projections assume everyone in the top 40 of DraftExpress' NBA Draft rankings will leave school.
The rankings also take into account the top freshmen and transfers.
Here it is:
- Kansas
- Duke
- Villanova
- Auburn
- Kentucky
- UNC
- Nevada
- West Virginia
- Gonzaga
- Virginia
- Maryland
Two of these teams are still alive in the 2017-18 season.
Kansas and Villanova are set to meet in the Final Four on Saturday night. The winner of the game between the Jayhawks and Wildcats will play the winner of Michigan-Loyola in the national title game.
Who do you like next season?
