Penny Hardaway wants to add some big non-conference games to Memphis' schedule. The Tigers' head coach has already apparently added one in Tennessee and he's working on another.

The other is Kentucky, which would be awesome because of the obvious John Calipari connection.

Hardaway said on ESPN's 92.9 today that Coach Cal made him a promise. The promise: If Hardaway ever became a head coach, they'd set something up.

A Kentucky-Memphis non-conference series would be awesome, especially if it's a home-and-home one, but it seems kind of doubtful.

If this does happen, it'd likely have to be a neutral-court game. It's tough to see Calipari taking his Kentucky team to Memphis after everything that has happened.

Memphis had planned on honoring John Calipari for his Hall of Fame induction back in 2015, but ended up cancelled the plans. The relationship there has clearly been fractured.

A Memphis-Kentucky neutral site game would still be fun, though.

Where would you play it?
