Report: Kentucky 5-Star Guard Quade Green Considering Transfer

Kentucky might be losing a five-star freshman. A former top recruit is reportedly considering a transfer.

Quade Green, a five-star freshman point guard, is reportedly considering a transfer out of the Wildcats' program. Another school has been mentioned as a potential destination, too.

The former top recruit is reportedly considering a transfer to La Salle, according to a report by NBC Sports.

John Calipari is reportedly already "prepping" for the loss of the five-star guard. La Salle would reportedly be the top choice.

NBC Sports' Robert Snyder is reporting the news.

Green was the No. 5 point guard in the country coming out of high school last year. He was the No. 26 overall recruit.

The 6-foot guard chose Kentucky over Syracuse and Villanova, among other programs.

The point guard averaged 9 points and nearly 3 assists per game for Kentucky during the 2017-18 season. He's a Philadelphia native and La Salle's new head coach has ties to the point guard. Stay tuned.
