Kevin Sumlin Says Former Purdue Coach Joe Tiller Is 'Not Doing Too Well'
The Texas A&M coach said his former boss isn't doing too well.
Kevin Sumlin ended his SEC Media Days press conference this afternoon by asking for prayers for his former boss.
The Texas A&M coach said Joe Tiller, whom Sumlin coached under at Purdue, is "not doing too well."
Tiller, 74, was the Boilermakers' head coach from 1997-2008. He won the Big Ten in 2000 and led the program to 10 bowl games during his tenure.
Sumlin, 52, played at Purdue and was a wide receivers coach at the school from 1998-2000 under Tiller.
Our thoughts are with Tiller and his family at this time.
