Kirk Herbstreit Is Upset With This Team's New Top 25 Ranking

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit was extremely impressed with Ohio State's comeback win against Penn State on Saturday night.

The Buckeyes, led by quarterback Dwayne Haskins, rallied from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to take down the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium.

"Down 12 with 8 minutes to go-drove 75 yards in 3 plays TD then drive 96 yards to win it. Season defining moment," he wrote.

And, while Herbie was impressed with Ohio State, he really liked what he saw from Penn State, too.

The ESPN analyst made it clear last night that he didn't think the Nittany Lions should drop in the new top polls. He made that clear on Twitter today, too.

"(Penn State) is a top 10 team shouldn’t drop in polls IMO," he wrote.

The top 25 voters didn't listen to Herbstreit, though.

Penn State did drop in the latest Coaches' Poll, although it wasn't that far of a fall. The Nittany Lions, No. 9 in last week's top 25 poll, are now No. 11.

PSU is ranked behind two one-loss teams in Auburn and Washington.
