Kirk Herbstreit Sends Heartfelt Message To NFL Player Following Crushing Mistake

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit sent a heartfelt message to an NFL player following his crushing mistake today.

Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had a costly fumble late in his team's loss to the New Orleans Saints today.

Smith-Schuster was seen breaking down on the sideline.

Herbstreit and many other took to Twitter to write the star wide receiver a message:

"Hang in there @TeamJuJu. So many of us out here appreciate your competitive spirit, your unselfish approach, and your overall attitude toward the game. You’re a unique player. Congrats on having another outstanding year my man. Shake this off," he tweeted.

The Steelers fell to 8-6-1 on the season with today's loss.

Pittsburgh is set to play the Bengals on Sunday.
