Kirk Herbstreit: This Team Will Be "Dangerous" This Fall

Kirk Herbstreit On College Football's Most "Intimidating" Stadium

Chris Petersen has built Washington into one of the country's most-respectable college football programs in the four-plus years he's been there. The Huskies have become an annual top 10-15 team.

Washington went 10-3 last season, following up a College Football Playoff appearance the season prior with a Fiesta Bowl appearance in 2017.

How good will Washington be this fall?

Probably pretty, pretty good.

Kirk Herbstreit is certainly a believer.

The ESPN college football analyst tweeted today that Washington will be "dangerous."

"Great coach. Love his culture. Never waivers. Finds players who FIT. Such a big deal to his ongoing success. Dangerous team yet again out west this Fall," Herbstreit tweeted.

Washington, a preseason top 10 team, opens its season on a big stage. The Huskies are set to take on Auburn on Saturday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 3:3o p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ABC.
