ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has called out a Los Angeles Lakers player for a comment he made in the locker room following Wednesday night’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Smith says he was in the locker room following Wednesday night’s game and Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo had something not-so-nice to say to him.
“I was in the Lakers locker room last night, Mr. Rondo directed a very disrespectful comment my way,” Smith said.
“Out of respect to the Los Angeles Lakers as an organization, I didn’t want to make a scene.”

Smith had previously said that Rondo deserved a 15-game suspension for spitting in Chris Paul’s face.
Rondo denied spitting in Paul’s face and ended up getting suspended for two games as a result of the Lakers-Rockets incident.
The Lakers improved to 5-6 with the win last night.
