LaVar Ball has made plenty of bold claims over the last year or so. The biggest, though, is his strong belief that all three of his sons - Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo - will all play in the NBA on the same team.

Right now, it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Lonzo is on the Lakers, but LiAngelo, who entered the 2018 NBA Draft, was unable to make a Summer League roster.

LiAngelo is now playing in the Junior Basketball Association with his younger brother, LaMelo. This is the league LaVar created to compete against college ball.

LaVar has opened up about LiAngelo being relegated to the JBA in an interview with TMZ Sports.

"My son wants to get better, he'll do whatever it takes to get better," he said. "The bottom line is, I want all three of my boys to play for the Lakers."

LaVar continued, saying the JBA is an opportunity for LiAngelo to improve.

"It's not even a yellow brick road. It's a road that he has to take," his father noted. "It's nothing wrong with this. You want to play. All he wants to do his play. And playing with his brothers, just to let you all know, the chemistry is crazy. This beats running hills and just shooting on a machine by yourself."

Playing in the JBA is by no means a bad thing for LiAngelo, but the idea of him one day playing in the NBA seems pretty far-fetched at this point.

One thing is for sure: LaVar Ball is going to keep talking about all of this.
