LeBron James will likely make a decision on his future in the NBA in the next two weeks. Until then, publications - like ours - will be looking for clues as to which way he's leaning. Wednesday, it's a set of tweets from LeBron's "friend" that have gone viral that might be providing some insight.
A Twitter user who goes by @CuffsTheLegend tweeted a handful of times about "staying up late" for West Coast NBA games. He also tweeted at ESPN's Cari Champion, a diehard Lakers fan, and a player on the franchise - Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma liked the post.
The user is apparently a friend of LeBron's - James shouted him out back in July of 2016. He implied he's known him since "day 1."

Back in July of 2014, one day before LeBron announced he was heading back to Cleveland, the same user posted a photo of James' Cavaliers jersey on Instagram. Many believe that he knew back then what LeBron would decide before anyone else.
Of course, we all need to take this with a grain of salt. It's unclear how close this person is with LeBron - and whether he really has any inside information. That said, it's out there, and based on his Instagram post four years ago, he may have some kind of intel.
James will reportedly make his decision in the first week of July. It's going to be huge news when it breaks.
