LeBron James has already told us where he's going to be playing the next few years, but that hasn't stopped fans from overanalyzing every social media post the King has released in the aftermath. Friday, James took to Instagram with an interesting photo of himself in Italy and basketball fans are trying to figure out what it means.
James has been on vacation with his family since he made his move to Los Angeles official. At the moment, he appears to be at a very luxurious resort in some coastal town in Italy.
The photo in question? James posted a picture of himself staring out into the ocean, wearing a Christian Pulisic jersey. Why? We don't know.
Pulisic, who plays for Borussia Dortmund, is one of our country's best soccer players. Did James mean to post it on July 4th to show American pride? Is James leaving behind basketball for soccer? We doubt either of those things.
It's a weird play with the World Cup going on - considering the United States didn't even qualify. Italy didn't either, for whatever that's worth.
Regardless, it looks like James is having a nice time on his vacation. When he gets back, he's going to be tasked, yet again, with taking down the Golden State Warriors. He better hope the Lakers front office isn't on vacation as it tries to put together a contender.
