NBA free agency is set to begin exactly one week from today. Of course, the main free agent on everyone's mind is LeBron James. Everyone in the league would love to sign him, but it seems like only a couple have a true shot.

There appears to be three main contenders, actually. Those three teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Cleveland and Los Angeles probably have a leg up on Philadelphia, too, but the Sixers are still doing everything they can.

NJ.com reported on Saturday that Philadelphia's front office is trying hard to open up a max contract slot for James.

"The Sixers are doing everything they can to clear enough cap space to sign him outright to a max contract," NJ.com reports.

ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst, meanwhile, outlined the percentages for James' free agency decision. He gives the Lakers the best odds, with the Cavaliers being a close second and the Sixers a distant third.

"Windhorst said he's 51 percent sure LeBron is going to L.A. regardless of Kawhi and PG. He then said 40 percent Cleveland and 9 percent Philly."

James could end up taking his time with this decision, too. There's no rush for the NBA's best player to make a decision right away.

Free agency is set to begin on July 1. It's possible James could end up making his decision within the first couple of days of free agency, but if he's really up in the air about what he wants to do, this could last for a while. Stay tuned.
