LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers star forward, is getting more official by the day. Each day, we seem to have something new to get Lakers fans excited about.
Last week, LeBron officially signed his four-year, $153 million contract (with an opt-out after the third year). On Sunday, LeBron showed up to the Lakers-Pistons Summer League game in Las Vegas.
Today, we've gotten our first look at LeBron in a Lakers jersey.
LeBron, who will be wearing his No. 23 jersey in Los Angeles, has been featured on the new NBA2K19 game. His rating is a 98 overall, the highest in the game.
NBA2K19 tweeted out a photo of LeBron in his white No. 23 jersey.
LeBron took to Instagram to talk about it.
"Man those white uniforms ain’t so bad/fresh and that rating ain’t so bad either for such an old head!" he wrote.
There had been some talk that LeBron might choose a new number with the Lakers, as he did with the Miami Heat, but that's not happening.
LeBron will be wearing No. 6 in practice with the Lakers, as he did in Cleveland.
While LeBron has made some public appearances since signing with the Lakers, he's yet to officially comment on his decision. He'll be appearing at a charity event back in Ohio later this month and he'll reportedly be speaking then.
