LeBron James is on the Lakers now. The NBA's best player is going to have some interesting teammates in Los Angeles next season, too. Magic Johnson and Co. have made several bold moves so far.

The Lakers have signed Rajon Rondo, Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee to contracts so far this summer. That's quite the collection of characters.

Johnson and his general manager, Rob Pelinka, have faced some criticism for these moves.

"Can someone win and lose executive of the year in 24 hours?" ESPN's Ryen Russillo asked.

This is a fair criticism. The Lakers' moves outside of LeBron James have been questionable, at best. FOX Sports 1's Nick Wright, though, says he knows that LeBron wanted to play with at least one of the guys the Lakers have signed. LeBron has long been a fan of Rajon Rondo. He's on multiple occasions brought up how intelligent he is and how great a basketball mind he has. "LeBron wanted to play with Rajon Rondo. That much I can tell you," Wright said on First Things First this morning.

And now he will be. It's unclear how a non-shooter like Rondo will fit next to a player like LeBron, but we're interested in finding out.
