LeBron James is officially a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. The NBA’s best player signed his contract with his new team on Monday night. It’s a four-year deal worth $153 million and an opt-out after the third year.

Before LeBron signed with the Lakers, he met with Los Angeles’ top man, Magic Johnson, at the start of free agency on July 1.
Details of that meeting are starting to emerge. We now know what LeBron was talking to Magic about during the meeting. It’s impressive.
Magic has revealed that LeBron was already breaking down the Lakers’ entire roster, talking about how he already knows what everyone is best at.
“He already knew the team, almost better than I did. He broke down the roster right in front of me. ‘Kuz like to do this. So and so like…and I said, ‘wow, he knows the entire roster,’” Magic told Spectrum SportsNet.

That’s not really surprising, considering LeBron is one of the most-intelligent basketball players we’ve ever seen, but it’s still impressive. LeBron appears to already be all-in on his NBA Finals pursuit with the Lakers.
LeBron, meanwhile, has yet to officially comment on his Lakers signing.
