Every year, the outfits that NBA players wear before and after their games get more and more bizarre. Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook is probably the biggest offender, but Thursday night, LeBron James gave him a serious run for his money. Some are even calling it the worst outfit, well, ever.
James, before and after his team's tragic loss to the Golden State Warriors, was wearing a suit and tie with knee-high shorts on. He was also carrying some kind of purse.
James looked ridiculous walking into the arena before the game started. After the game, it went to a new level. James walked out on his press conference after a question about J.R. Smith, and looked absurd in the process. In the span of a few seconds, he picked up his purse and left, muttering "be better tomorrow" to a reporter.
The Internet is having a fun time with the whole thing.
All that said, LeBron's game was on-point, even in a loss. James scores 51 points with eight rebounds and eight assists in one of the greatest NBA Finals games ever played.
Game 2 of the NBA Finals will come this Sunday. We can only hope that James has something else in the closet to show us ahead of the contest.
