Los Angeles Lakers' star forward LeBron James is under fire for a controversial message posted on his Instagram Story.

James, 33, posted a rap lyric on his Instagram Story and some are criticizing him for posting it.

"We been getting that Jewish money, everything is Kosher," the lyric reads.

It's from a 21 Savage song.

"Surprised LeBron, who makes very few mistakes, put this out. Does quoting lyrics from a song absolve the person quoting from the responsibility behind the words? I’d argue no, especially with a following of 45 million," Darren Rovell tweeted.

James is one of the most-followed athletes on Instagram.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star forward has nearly 46 million followers on the social media platform.
