Here's what LeBron James thinks about his best friend being traded.

The Cavs made a bunch of trades today. LeBron James, though, was reportedly only consulted about one of them.

That trade, of course, was the Dwyane Wade trade. James' friend was traded back to his first NBA home, the Miami Heat.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne has the details on what happened. She says James was spoken to before the move was finalized.

"I'm told by a Cavs source that GM Koby Altman went to LeBron James before they traded Dwyane Wade to make sure he understood what was behind the move. Altman told James that the decision would be up to Wade and James thought that was fair. Cavs felt it was important to make sure James understood, since Wade is his best friend," Shelburne reports.

The Wade trade was made with Wade's best interests in mind. He wasn't going to play much in Cleveland.

Now, he gets to go home. And he gets to play for a team competing for a playoff spot.

James has reacted on Instagram to the move. He's happy for his friend.

"Truly happy for my brother Dwyane Wade!! It’s how it’s suppose to be. Love you my guy!!" he wrote.

That's pretty cool. Maybe we'll get to see a LeBron-Wade playoff matchup later this spring.

The NBA's trade deadline is about 30 minutes away. Stay tuned...
