Everyone wants to know what LeBron James will do in free agency. There are three possible options, and plenty of whispers and speculation to go around.

As recently as one day ago, the Lakers seemed like the odds-on favorite to sign James. The only other option was to return to Cleveland, which has never seemed particularly likely.

However, now the Philadelphia 76ers are making a run at James. They met with his reps today and are strongly pursuing him and Kawhi Leonard.

In an appearance on NBATV, longtime NBA reporter David Aldridge offered up is feelings on Philly's chances with LeBron. Sixers fans will like reading this.

In Aldridge's estimation, Philly is "in the hunt" and has a shot at King James.

For what its worth, there are still some people around the NBA who think LeBron is already locked into the Lakers, and the rest of this is all for show.

We'll have to wait a couple of days to find out.

Stay tuned.
