LeBron James was at the Lakers' Summer League game in Las Vegas today. Los Angeles' new star player is watching his teammates play the Detroit Pistons. It's an NBA Summer League tournament quarterfinals contest.
You know who else was at the game in Las Vegas? LeBron's former head coach, Tyronn Lue.
Despite it might being a little awkward, LeBron and Tyronn appeared to share a nice moment together.
Lue came over to where LeBron was sitting right on the baseline. The two hugged and chatted for a couple of seconds.
Here's the video:
Lue had previously spoken about LeBron's decision to leave the Lakers. He said LeBron told him via a phone call.
"It was a surprise. We talked, we had dialogue all summer, but I didn't want to ask him those questions. We have a good friendship, and I respect his privacy. I respect his decision. We just talked about basketball, talked about the draft, things you want to get better at next season.
"I didn't expect it. When I saw, I was shocked and hurt a little bit by the decision, but like I said, we talked and he said I'm his favorite guy. He loved being coached by me. He loved the four seasons we had together, and this decision was solely on just a decision for himself and his family, and I can live with that," Lue said during an appearance on ESPN.
LeBron's new coach is Luke Walton. The two have reportedly been texting a lot since LeBron's decision.
