He hasn’t shut down his recruitment though, even with a pair of previous commitments under his belt. Florida remains in the mix, but he also has a half-dozen other schools in contention.
Manuel made the rare move, as a committed player, to announced a list of top programs. The Gators are the first team listed, but he has a number of other college football powers in the mix.
Georgia, a hated rival of Florida, is still in contention, as are Clemson, LSU, Miami, Penn State, and Texas A&M.
Leonard Manuel revealed his new top seven on Thursday night.
From his Twitter account:

His full note:
“Top 7….. I just Wanna Thank all the colleges that recruited me I am truly grateful for your attention towards me, also I would like to thank my mom for the love and support and my coaches and family members. I waiwted so long for this, It has been a long journey I’m so excited for my future. MAY GOD BLESS ME”
His Twitter bio still contains UF ’23, so all indications are that he is still a Gator commit. Still, they have some work to do to lock him in.
Manuel is the No. 66 player in the 2020 class. He’s No. 13 among wide receivers, and No. 7 in Florida.
