Earlier this month, Sports Illustrated released the covers and photo spreads for this year's Swimsuit issue and as always, there were several notable athletes in this year's issue.

Two United States Women's National Team players, Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe, were featured in the new issue ahead of the 2019 World Cup.

Lindsey Vonn, who retired from U.S. Olympic skiing, is featured in the issue as well.

Vonn initially shared her photos from the shoot and has since posted a few behind the scenes videos of the shoots.

Vonn is a veteran of the swimsuit issue, this is her third time.

"It feels incredible! I remember the first time I was asked to be in the magazine and I was shocked they asked me. I wasn’t sure of myself and was struggling with self confidence. Now being in my third issue its amazing to see how far I’ve come as a person. I’m finally confident in myself and I think you’ll be able to see that in the pictures," she told SI.com.

She revealed she's still getting used to not being a competitive athlete.

"I’m still coming to terms with being retired. It's hard to go from a very strict schedule to having everything up in the air. I'm still very busy but there are some days when I have to force myself to sleep in and relax," she said.
