It's Shark Week, which means a number of celebrities and athletes are turning up for random shark-related events. That includes former Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.
Vonn, along with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, helped tag various shark breeds.
Vonn had the chance to tag Whitetip Sharks, which are generally between five and six feet long, but can grow larger.
From Vonn's turn on the Discovery Channel show Monster Tag:
Other Lindsey Vonn Shark Week activities were a little less intense.
On Tuesday, she posted video of her riding one of the oceanic beasts. Well, sort of.
(Okay, it was actually just a mechanical shark, in the vain of the mechanical bulls that you may find at your local bar.)
That took place on Monday's episode of Shark After Dark, which is running at the end of each day of Shark Week fun.
We even learned that Vonn loves sharks so much, that she has a tattoo of one on her finger.
People certainly love Shark Week every summer, including top athletes, evidently. I'm sure you'll see some other big names popping up over the next few days.
