The biggest upset in tournament history just got a little more delicious...

Friday night, the UMBC Retrievers did the unthinkable becoming the first ever No. 16 seed to upset a No. 1 seed in tournament history.

UMBC put up 53 points in the second half to stun Virginia 74-54 and in the process won free pizza for everyone. Talk about the icing on the cake or should we say cheese on the slice?

Earlier on Friday, the official Little Caeser's account tweeted a promotion, stating that if a No. 16 beats a No. 1 than they'll give out free lunch combo meals from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Monday, April 2nd - which is the day of the championship game.

The lunch combo includes a 4-slice DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza with pepperoni, of course and one 20 oz. Pepsi-Cola product. I mean who doesn't love free? It just tastes better. Little Caesar's had to think they were safe running with this promo since a No. 16 team had never pulled off the feat, but as we all found out UVA wasn't the only one taking the 'L'

UMBC takes on Kansas State in round two of the tournament on Sunday at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC. Tip-off is at 7:45 pm.
