Lonzo Ball Could Reportedly Be Traded To A 3rd Team In Spurs-Lakers Kawhi Move

The Lakers and the Spurs are reportedly "fully engaged" on trade talks regarding All-NBA forward Kawhi Leonard. Los Angeles has several young assets and cap space to potentially add another star (cough: LeBron James: cough) next to Leonard.

Lonzo Ball has only been on the Lakers for a year, but the young point guard is someone who could be on the move if Los Angeles makes a move for Leonard. He might not even be going to San Antonio in that situation, too.

Los Angeles and San Antonio could get a third team involved to help make the money work. Both the Spurs and the Lakers have some contracts they'd like to get rid of. By attaching a player like Lonzo Ball to those contracts, perhaps a third team - a young team that has cap space and wants assets - could get involved.

Are the Orlando Magic that team?

Maybe.

The Magic do need a point guard, desperately. They have a lot of young, talented big men - they just drafted Mo Bamba - but their point guard depth is basically non-existent.

Fox Sports 1's Jason McIntyre says he's heard the Magic could get involved.

Lonzo Ball and LaVar Ball heading to Orlando to play for the Magic would be quite the story. That's obviously not the market LaVar Ball wants Lonzo to be in, but the point guard might actually thrive with all of the athletic freaks the Magic have on their roster.

Stay tuned.
