Another example of how awesome and petty the NBA is.
Isaiah Thomas is no longer a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The former point guard was moved to Los Angeles at the NBA's trade deadline.
The IT era was a disaster in Cleveland. He was injured for the first couple of months and, when healthy, he wasn't close to the player he was in Boston.
Thomas struggled on the floor, shooting a terrible percentage from the field. He played no defense. And he talked a lot to reporters about the things he and his teammates were doing wrong.
The two-time NBA All-Star says he's excited for his fresh start in Los Angeles.
"It was a surprise, but at the same time, I am happy to have a new start," Thomas told reporters on Saturday. "I am happy to be here with the Lakers, happy to be with a young team that is exciting, that likes to get up and down. That's my style of play. I am here to help in any way possible. It's a fresh start for me. I am excited."
Thomas made his debut with the Lakers on Saturday night. He scored 22 points in a loss to Dallas.
Today, he's apparently scrolling Instagram. And liking videos of Kyrie Irving embarrassing LeBron James. Check it out:
Pettiness level: High. Very high.
