This NFL Team Will Have The First-Ever Male Cheerleaders This Season

The Rams will have the first-ever male cheerleaders in NFL.

This season, an NFL team will employ two men as dancers on its cheerleading squad. It's the first time in league history.

According to ABC, the Los Angeles Rams will have two men on their cheerleading squad this season. Quinton Peron and Napolean Jinnies beat out dozens of women to make the team.

Peron and Jinnies joined Good Morning America on Wednesday morning to talk about the audition process. Here's what they had to say:

"I thought, 'Why not me? Why can't I do this?' And called my friend and I asked her when auditions were for the Rams and she told me Sunday [March 11] and I showed up," Peron said in an interview on "Good Morning America."

According to ABC, the duo has plenty of experience dancing. They're both classically-trained dancers.

The cheerleading squad shared a few photos on Twitter.
