Louisville announced some major Papa John's news this afternoon. The founder of the national pizza company is no longer an official part of the university.

The school announced this afternoon that John Schnatter, a.k.a. Papa John, is no longer a member of the school's board of trustees.

Schnatter made headlines earlier today when he used the N-word on a conference call.

Here's the full release from Louisville:

Schnatter had been a member of Louisville's board of trustees for two years. He's donated a significant amount of money to the school over the years, too.
