A Louisville Player Got T'd Up For Slapping The Floor In The Final 4

A Louisville player got a controversial technical foul for floor slapping.

The women's Final Four tipped off tonight in Columbus, Ohio. Louisville and Mississippi State are playing in the first game of the night. UConn and Notre Dame will follow.

The Cardinals and the Bulldogs are currently in overtime. The game is on ESPN2.

We had one of the most-ridiculous technical fouls we've ever seen late in the second half. A player got T'd up for slapping the floor.

Seriously.

Louisville forward Sam Fuehring was frustrated with a foul call. So she slapped the floor in frustration.

This led to one of the refs assessing her a technical foul. It was ridiculous.

Here's video:

Louisville was trailing, 54-53, at the time of the technical foul. Mississippi State made both free throws to go up by 3.

The Cardinals stormed back to take a 59-53 lead. However, the Bulldogs came back to tie it at the end of regulation.

If not for that ridiculous technical foul, Louisville might have won it in regulation. Alas, the game is in OT. It's on ESPN2.
