The Markelle Fultz situation has arguably been the weirdest story of the NBA's 2017-18 season (and there have been a lot of them).

Tonight, the story will take another turn. Fultz is going to play.

The No. 1 overall pick has not played in a game since October. He's been battling through a shoulder injury.

Fultz has been the constant focus of criticism and sympathy, with videos of his awkward shot going viral on Twitter every other day.

Tonight, we'll get to see him on the court. Hopefully.

Philadelphia's head coach, Brett Brown, announced that Fultz will be available to play. He'll be Ben Simmons' backup at point guard.

Philadephia, which has clinched its first playoff berth in six seasons, is set to play Denver tonight. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. E.T.

For those not in the Philadelphia area (or without League Pass), the game is on NBA TV.
