Mel Kiper Releases Newest 2018 Mock Draft

Mel Kiper debates Jabrill Peppers in the NFL Draft.

ESPN NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper has updated his 2018 mock draft.

Kiper’s mock draft 2.0 dropped this morning. As always, it has sparked conversation.

There are several selections in it that will raise some eyebrows, but that’s to be expected.

Here are the top 10 picks from the latest Kiper mock.

  1. Cleveland Browns – QB Josh Allen, Wyoming
  2. New York Giants – QB Sam Darnold, USC
  3. New York Jets – QB Josh Rosen, UCLA
  4. Cleveland Browns – RB Saquon Barkley, Penn State
  5. Denver Broncos –QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
  6. Indianapolis Colts - DE Bradley Chubb, NC State
  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – CB Denzel Ward, Ohio State
  8. Chicago Bears – OG Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame
  9. San Francisco 49ers – DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama
  10. Oakland Raiders – LB Roquan Smith, Georgia

Talk about quarterback heavy. Allen, Darnold and Rosen right off the bat, with Mayfield at No. 5. Additionally, Kiper has Lamar Jackson going later in the first round

Again, keep in mind, there’s still a month before the NFL Draft. Things can change.

You can read Kiper’s full mock here. It is an Insider piece though, so you need a subscription.

The 2018 NFL Draft will be held April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
