Former adult film star Mia Khalifa is obsessed with sports, and back in 2015, after retiring from her prior profession, she attempted to transition into sports media. She's had mixed success thus far, but it looks like she's going to get another opportunity in the coming weeks.

Thursday, Rooster Teeth announced that Khalifa will be the new co-host of a podcast called SPORTSBALL with former ESPN radio host Tyler Coe. The podcast originally ran from 2015 to 2016 and is being brought back with Khalifa in the fold.

The show is being billed as a weekly video podcast for fans who "don't take themselves too seriously." Here's more:

Rooster Teeth, the entertainment and media company behind some of the biggest online series in history, today announced the return of Sportsball, a weekly video podcast for sports fans who don’t take themselves too seriously, featuring no-holds-barred interviews, special guests and free-flowing-no-shits-given conversations on the latest sports news. Sportsball relaunches July 16 with new co-host Mia Khalifa who joins Rooster Teeth’s resident sports enthusiast and former ESPN radio host, Tyler Coe.

Rooster Teeth also dropped a promo for the podcast, which kicks off on July 16.

Khalifa has done some writing for a few sites and also was the star of a Complex show called Out of Bounds with former NBA player Gilbert Arenas. She calls herself the "D.C. sports girl" but also openly roots for Florida State football and Duke basketball.

It'll be interesting to see how the show does. Khalifa is obviously a draw, but the content will matter more than anything else. We'll find out in just over a week.
