We Have Our First Upset Of The 2018 NCAA Tournament

Loyola-Chicago hits buzzer beater against Miami.

We have our first NCAA Tournament upset!

Miami, the No. 6 seed in the South Region, has fallen. The high-seeded Hurricanes lost to No. 11 seed Loyola-Chicago.

The game was an electric one. It came down to the final play.

It ended on a buzzer-beater!

Loyola-Chicago hit a 3 right before time expired to take down the No. 6 seeded Hurricanes.

The shot was hit by Loyola-Chicago guard Donte Ingram.

What a shot!

Loyola was led by Ingram and Clayton Custer. The guard pair combined for 27 points, including 7 three-pointers.

The Ramblers move on to the second round, where they'll face No. 3 seed Tennessee. The Volunteers topped No. 14 seed Wright State in one of the first games of the day earlier this afternoon.

Loyola and Tennessee are set to tip off on Saturday. A game time and TV channel will be out later today.
