Michigan's head coach, Jim Harbaugh, famously guaranteed a win over Ohio State when he was the Wolverines' quarterback. Harbaugh, who's yet to beat the Buckeyes as a coach, came through on his promise as a player.
This afternoon, one of Harbaugh's top players, running back Karan Higdon, was asked if he would guarantee a win over Ohio State like his coach.
The Wolverines' star didn't back down.
"Yeah, I would. ... Why not?" Higdon told reporters.
The Michigan running back said he strongly believes in his coaching staff and teammates.
"I believe in my brothers."
A lot gets made about players "guaranteeing" wins over their opponents, especially when it's a big game, but what else is he supposed to say? Of course you want your players to believe they're going to win the game.
Ohio State and Michigan are set to kick off at noon E.T.
The game will be on FOX.
