Basketball isn't the only winter sport where Michigan is among the elite this season.

The Michigan hockey team beat Boston University today 6-3 to punch their ticket to the NCAA Frozen Four. It will be their first Frozen Four in seven years.

The Wolverines last won it all in 1998. They have nine all-time national championships.

This will be the sixth time a school has a basketball and a hockey team in the Frozen Four. Michigan State did it last in 2001. In fact, the state of Michigan is the only state to have accomplished this feat.

The Frozen Four will be played April 5 and 7.

Michigan will face Notre Dame.
