Bryce Harper is the biggest name on the MLB's free agent market this year and the Washington Nationals star outfielder has been linked to several franchises.

The 26-year-old All-Star right fielder has been named a potential option for the Phillies, Yankees, Cubs, Dodgers and others, though one ESPN MLB insider has a new update.

ESPN MLB insider Buster Olney says that most common guesses from those connected to the situation have Harper landing back in D.C.

"Baseball execs are baseball fans at heart, and they wonder, too, about where Bryce Harper and Manny Machado will sign. Most common guesses -- informed speculation -- that I've heard from folks within the game: Machado to the Phillies, Harper back to the Nationals," he reports.

The Nationals are reportedly very interested in bringing Harper back and reportedly offered him a $300 million contract at the end of the regular season.

Washington will likely have to up its offer in order to get Harper to sign, but it appears that both sides are interested in making it happen.

Stay tuned.
