Star NFL running back LeSean McCoy has been accused of child abuse by the mother of his son. Stephanie Maisonet spoke with TMZ and published several posts on Instagram, insinuating McCoy abused their son.
This news comes in the wake of an investigation into an alleged assault of McCoy's ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, in his Georgia home. According to a new report from TMZ, Maisonet revealed she helped McCoy in the case against Cordon.
However, in light of recent events, Maisonet now says she regrets helping McCoy. "I regret ever agreeing to help LeSean McCoy in this case ... I feel like I am sending our son to a monster every two weeks," she revealed to TMZ.
In several Instagram posts, Maisonet called into question McCoy's methods of discipline and his character. She also included a video of their son and photos suggesting McCoy abused him.
TMZ reported Maisonet filed new documents in Corden's case against McCoy claiming "LeSean has abused their son on multiple occasions."
McCoy has responded to the allegations, speaking to TMZ Sports:
"The allegations made against me today regarding my relationship with my son are provably false, outrageously inaccurate and offensive. I have a loving and close knit relationship with my son."
"The young boy is my whole life. With a custody case coming in November, I can see why these false allegations are surfacing."
