The nation's No. 1 high school football recruit for the 2020 cycle made a major recruiting announcement on Friday morning. Bryan Bresee, a five-star defensive end recruit from Maryland, took to Twitter to reveal the top-six schools in his recruitment at this point.

It's an all-star cast of schools for the top recruit. So, who made the top six for the nation's No. 1 recruit?

In alphabetical order: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State all made the list.

Here's the announcement from Bresee himself.

According to 247Sports' Crystal Ball predictions, Ohio State is the leader in the clubhouse to land the prized recruit. Bresee spoke with 247Sports' Ohio State site earlier this season and noted Ohio State, Penn State and Georgia would all make his list.

Ohio State is up there. Penn State and Georgia are in there. I’m just going to games right now. That will help me to decide (on top choices). I’ll probably do a Top 5 or Top 7 later in the season. Then I’ll probably take all five official visits. I’ll probably take one or two in the spring and then the rest in the fall.

Bresee stands 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 290 pounds despite being a high school junior. The star recruit holds 32 offers from some of the nation's top programs - as evidenced by his final six list.
