If the Golden State Warriors were hopeful that Kevin Durant and Draymond Green would fix their recent issues, this latest report won’t exactly encourage the front office. With the defending champions looking to win another NBA title, it appears the biggest threat is coming from within the locker room.
Green has always been vocal on the hardwood, but he may have crossed the line with his recent comments. Regardless of his feelings toward Durant, using harsh language toward his teammate is simply unacceptable.
Well, it turns out that the former Defensive Player of the Year wasn’t done.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that Green said something along the lines of “We don’t need you. We won without you. Leave.”

The Warriors still possess the best roster in the league, which makes this current chaos even more concerning.
Now, the franchise is in a difficult situation because of this dispute. It’s unfair for Steve Kerr or management to pick a side in this dispute, but suspending Green for one game may have revealed their choice.
Durant has taken tons of criticism for his decision to join Golden State. However, receiving negative comments from a teammate truly takes this saga to uncharted waters.
Although the Warriors have shown they can figure this out in the past, Green’s antics undoubtedly complicate matters.
