The greatest threat to the Golden State Warriors might just be themselves. Earlier this week, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant were caught arguing on the bench, which has raised concerns about the defending champions.
With Durant able to enter free agency this upcoming summer, it’s imperative that Golden State keeps its two-time Finals MVP in town. Unfortunately, this recent development with Green could linger for an extended period of time.
Although the Warriors suspended Green for his role in the argument, Durant isn’t ready to mend his relationship with his vocal teammate.
Following the team’s victory over the Atlanta Hawks, Durant was transparent that he’s yet to solve his problems with Green.

“I’m gonna keep that in-house,” Durant said. “That’s what we do here. I mean, obviously I know you guys got a job to do, but I’m not trying to give nobody no headlines.”
If Golden State wants to continue being a dynasty, then this issue needs to end.
Regardless of all the talent on this roster, friction within the locker room can hinder their success.
More importantly, this fight between Durant and Green presents an obstacle to the Warriors’ quest for a three-peat. However, winning cures a lot of problems, and Golden State could resolve this issue over the next few games.
