It's never too early for NBA mock drafts, and ESPN is clearly getting an early start to all the chaos that will take place in June.

While there is certainly an interesting debate brewing about which prospect deserves the top spot, it seems almost guaranteed that it'll be one of Duke's star freshmen. However, this latest edition is giving the early edge to Zion Williamson. His athletic abilities are matched by few on the hardwood, which helps his cause as the top selection.

The second overall pick in this mock draft is RJ Barrett, who also plays for the Blue Devils and is scoring 22.7 points per contest. Rounding out the top three selections is Nassir Little from UNC, as the freshman phenom is averaging 11.8 points per game.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Williamson, Barrett and Cam Reddish are all projected in the top five. After all, this trio has the talent to bring another championship to Duke.

As for other elite programs, Kentucky stars Keldon Johnson and PJ Washington also make an appearance in this mock draft. Johnson is listed as the No. 7 overall pick and Washington is listed as the No. 20 overall pick.

With so much time remaining in this college basketball season, these projections could certainly change over time.
