Kevin Durant and C.J. McCollum were beefing on social media on Wednesday night. Well, the two NBA star players appeared to be beefing. There were a couple of tweets that went super viral.

It all started with what was said on McCollum's podcast, which Durant appeared on. He basically said that the Blazers have no chance to win the NBA Finals, so McCollum shouldn't be upset about DeMarcus Cousins signing with the Warriors.

McCollum was then asked on Twitter by Barstool Sports' Big Cat if it was OK to start using the "b word" for Durant.

"I still think the b word is harsh and shouldn’t be used," McCollum said. "He know that decision was soft but I respect it. It’s like getting jumped with ur brothers by a gang you should’ve beat then joining the gang that jumped u and ur brothers 2 months later & forgetting about your bros."

Durant responded: "So, I would get into a gang fight, lose, plot on my brother for 2 months in our home and then go get the gang we lost to and beat him up? U think that low of me CJ? I just did your fuckin podcast. Snakes in the grass boy I tell ya," he wrote.

Yikes.

However, the "beef" appears to have been overblown, at least according to Durant's manager.

"Of course there is no real issue, not even a little bit. KD and CJ are friends," Rich Kleiman told Jordan Schultz.

The manager of Kevin Durant is obviously going to say that. Do you believe it?
