Dallas Cowboys fans and Ezekiel Elliott fantasy football owners can exhale. The star running back looks to be just fine.
Elliott has been a bell cow back for Dallas since entering the league in 2016. It turns out his missed practice yesterday was related to limiting his workload.
Elliott has a shoulder issue, but was back on the field in full today.

Elliott is coming off a monster performance against the Philadelphia Eagles. He touched the ball a total of 40 times, carrying 28 times for 113 yards and catching 12 passes for 79 yards in the overtime win.
“He wants those touches. We gave him 40 and he will come to me and said I could have checked it down to him on this play or that play,” Dak Prescott told ESPN. “He wants 50 touches. He wants the ball … He wants the touches out of the backfield and wants to help the team win in any way he can. It’s Ezekiel Elliott. He is doing what he does best and it’s exciting to see. We love having him on the team.”
Elliott and the Cowboys are 8-5, winners of five-straight. They have a firm grasp on the lead in the NFC East heading into this weekend’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Dallas is two games ahead of the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles, and three games in front of the New York Giants.
