LeBron James exited tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors with an apparent injury. Here's the latest on his status.

The Lakers' new star forward appeared to suffer an injury in the third quarter of tonight's Christmas Day game.

James appeared to tell members of the Lakers' training staff that he heard something "pop" in his upper-leg area.

The Lakers' star was then seen grimacing on the sideline, before exiting the floor for the locker room.

Los Angeles has issued an update on James' status. He's questionable to return.

"LeBron is questionable to return with a strained left groin," Lakers reporter Mike Trudell tweeted.

James has been one of the NBA's biggest Iron Men over the years, almost never missing games with injuries. It looks like this could be one that sidelines him for at least tonight, though.

The Lakers are holding a close lead over the Warriors as we head into the fourth quarter.

The game is on ABC.
