The status of Sean Miller and Arizona's men's basketball program is the No. 1 story in college basketball right now. Here's the latest on what's going on.

Friday night, ESPN reported that Miller had been heard discussing a $100K payment for a recruit. That recruit was Deandre Ayton, a star freshman for the Wildcats.

Miller did not coach in Arizona's game at Oregon on Saturday night. He flew him separately from the team.

Ayton, meanwhile, played in the game. His family says that his name will soon be cleared.

Fast forward to today - Miller was not at Arizona's practice. His status with the team is "unclear."

From Tuscon.com:

Sean Miller did not coach the Arizona Wildcats when practice resumed Monday, two days after he sat out the UA's overtime loss at Oregon and returned home on his own.

UA associate head coach Lorenzo Romar confirmed that Miller was "not with us" before practice began. Romar said he didn't know if anything had changed with Miller's status. The UA has not formally said if Miller's status has changed.

This thing is probably going to drag out for a while. Miller maintains that he is innocent.
