Entering the 2018 college football season, the biggest question facing the Alabama Crismson Tide was who would start at quarterback. After six weeks of action, Tua Tagovailoa was not only named the starter, but has looked like the best QB in the nation.
Jalen Hurts decided not to use the new redshirt rule as an excuse to transfer from Alabama despite losing the starting job. Hurts has seen action in every game this season.
Tonight as the Crimson Tide took on, the team might be glad Hurts is still around. A scary seen unfolded as Tua left the game with an injury and walked into the injury tent.
Not long after, both of Tua’ parents also joined him in the tent.

It’s a tough moment to gauge exactly what is going on with regard to Tagovailoa’s injury, as parents coming down onto the field and entering the medical tent is not a normal occurrence.
However, we don’t want to draw any conclusion based on seconds of video.
Tua has remained in the tent for over ten minutes.
Update: Tua has returned to the sideline and has his helmet on.
