The star tight end has been suspended for one game.
The NFL has announced punishment for Rob Gronkowski.
The New England Patriots’ star tight end will be suspended for one game for his cheap hit on Buffalo Bills defensive back Tre’Davious White following a Tom Brady interception. White is in concussion protocol as a result of the late hit in his head/neck area.

Barring a successful appeal, the one-game suspension would cost Gronk $281,250 — his $250K game check plus a $31,250 active bonus.

Gronkowski is lucky the NFL just gave him a one-game suspension. A cheap, dirty hit like that could have easily warranted a multi-game suspension.
